Terms and Conditions 

1. General

1.1. These conditions shall form part of all contracts for the supply of any services (the “Services”) by Scrubd (“Scrubd”) to any customer (“the Customer”) and shall prevail over any condition or stipulation to the contrary unless expressly accepted in writing by a director of Scrubd.
1.2. An order placed by the Customer is deemed to be upon the terms and conditions herein contained.

2. Payment

2.1. The time of payment of all sums due by the Customer to Scrubd under this or any future contract shall be of the essence.
2.2. Payment is requested in advance by credit card prior to the provision of the Services. The Customer must maintain a valid debit/credit card registered on our website and ensure that all contact and payment information is correct and accurate.

3. Price

3.1. The price of the Services will be the price set out on our website at the time of the order unless another price has been agreed upon in writing (the “Price List”).
3.2. All prices listed are exclusive of VAT and subject to availability and market demand.
3.3. Scrubd reserves the right to adjust pricing if the Customer’s circumstances are not typical or incorrect booking options have been selected.
3.4. All payments must be made in full without any set-off, counterclaim, deduction, or withholding.

4. Hot Water and Electricity

4.1. Scrubd requests that hot water be made available to deliver Services efficiently. If not provided, the Services may take longer and incur additional costs, and Scrubd will not be responsible for substandard results.
4.2. Electricity is required for cleaning Services. If electricity is not available upon arrival, the booking will be considered canceled, and the Customer will be charged in full.

5. Your Obligations

5.1. The Customer agrees to treat Scrubd staff and contractors courteously and lawfully and to provide a safe working environment, in compliance with all laws and regulations.

6. Inspection and Claims

6.1. The Customer must inspect the Services upon completion and notify Scrubd within 24 hours of any issues.
6.2. No refunds or rework will be provided for claims made after the 24-hour period.
6.3. Scrubd will not entertain claims for loss or damage unless notified within 24 hours.
6.4. It may take Scrubd up to 7 working days to respond to a complaint.
6.5. If dissatisfied, the Customer’s remedy is a re-engagement of the Services at Scrubd's discretion.

7. Exclusion of Liability

7.1. Scrubd’s total liability is limited to €500 or the total fees paid by the Customer in the 12 months preceding the complaint, whichever is higher.
7.2. Scrubd carries employers' and third-party insurance. Customers are responsible for arranging insurance for any excess or uncovered losses.
7.3. Scrubd is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profit or reputation.
7.4. The Services are not warranted to be performed with any specific level of skill or diligence.
7.5. The Customer confirms they have not relied on Scrubd's advice in determining the suitability of the Services.
7.6. Scrubd is not liable for damage or loss to unsecured or pre-damaged items.
7.7. Fragile items such as cash, jewellery, or electronics must be secured or removed prior to the Service.
7.8. Scrubd excludes all implied terms, warranties, or conditions unless stated otherwise.
7.9. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or injury caused by negligence or fraud.

8. Force Majeure

8.1. Scrubd is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events outside its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, labour disputes, or government actions.
8.2. If Scrubd is unable to perform the Services due to force majeure, the Customer will not have grounds for a claim.

9. Confidentiality

9.1. Scrubd may disclose the Customer's confidential information to employees, contractors, or advisers to perform its obligations.
9.2. Scrubd will only use the Customer’s confidential information for contract-related purposes.

10. Cancellation/Rescheduling

10.1. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50%.

11. Termination

11.1. Scrubd may terminate the Services with 12 hours' notice, refunding any payment made.
11.2. Immediate termination may occur if the Customer breaches the terms or fails to pay any amount due.

12. Governing Law

12.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes will be decided by the Irish courts.
